Wu Wei

I am not a Buddhist. I do not believe that life is ultimately about detachment or suffering. I never will.

Nor am I still Wiccan or an active adherent of any of the other man-made religions.

Many surfers will talk about flow and tenets that are very similar to Taoism, even if they do not practice actual Taoism.

That is closer to where my beliefs and practices rest as well. I work with the ebb and tides of life and nature.

I practice chill. It is the way I have chosen.

I am passionate. There are goals I want to accomplish. My world gets rocked regularly.

Does that fly in the face of my training in manipulating or directing the current or will? Yes.

Is it also contrary to some abilities and beliefs or expectations of the Vampyre? Sometimes.

It is still the path.
