Additional Marks

The dark cafe’ au lait mark on my to the right of my belly button had been there for as long as I could remember. During an ultrasound, a technician at ZoomCare remarked that it was almost a perfect circle.

Since around 2019, it has been growing far lighter and more dispersed.

I could not find a photo of it when I was younger and it does not seem to be in photos of my stomach prior to age 3.

I also “stepped on a nail” as a child. I must have been about 4 or 5 at the time and I was living in a trailer with my mom. She was asleep and I was playing in the living room. The nail stuck in the bottom of my foot and she drove me to see Dr. Hines in Carson City. At least that is the memory.

A small dark brown mark was left on the bottom of my foot. Around 2019, it disappeared completely.

Although difficult to see in the photo, the mark on my stomach did seem lighter and more stretched out when I was pregnant but darkened and closed back in afterward.
