Basque in Nevada

So how does this relate to the old country and, their beliefs? And, more importantly, how does it relate to my story? One of the females who abused me and put afflictions on me was a friend of a girl we will call L.C. and her name was Meri. Meri was suffering from Lupus and rarely attended the class we shared. I did not know a great deal about her but she was studying witchcraft under L.C. and claimed to be of Basque descent. It was this descent that she felt made her more worthy than me to have power, beauty and good health. What surprised me most is that I was actually kind to her in class, while the other students were not. In the end, I realized that most people will do almost anything to belong or be accepted and those antes are raised if you add beauty, money and power.
