Creature Features

My father recently passed away, but one of my earliest memories of him was when I was about 3.

He would work late at the local hospital and then go to school for accounting and business. I stayed awake late at night to wait for him and we would watch Creature Features together.

Creature Features was my first introduction to Hammer Horror Films.

Of course I already had a natural taste for what would become the Gothic aesthetic (vampyre aesthetic).

My father even designed a Victorian vampyre coach to go on top of his trike motorcycle for us to ride in.

The main carriage was black and he had placed fake torch sconces on either side. Inside there was red carpet and he used red plexiglass on the windows so the sun filtered in the same color.
