Arkhangelsk
Today I heard from someone who might be a distant relative. He said that part of his family originated from Arkhangelsk. I knew a significant part of my ancient genetic ancestry had shown a Russian connection, but there were no ties in my modern family.

I would suggest extreme caution around any sudden findings or discoveries made in 1991-1992 (but also 1986-1996). My guess would be that this area was settled by the countries listed or traveled through by them. With the exception, currently, of Kufan, it also reflects my modern ancestry.

Speaking of the Arctic Circle, that was one of my favorite fast food restaurants when we lived in Fallon, NV.
