East/West Perspective-Dragons

At least from what I can remember, I have been drawn to Western Dragons but not Eastern or Chinese Dragons. However, recently I bought a red Chinese Dragon figure and also a qilin figure. In researching the figures and their mythology, I was surprised by the difference in reverence for dragons between the two geographies and philosophies. In the West, I have grown tired of seeing the figures of Archangel Michael or Saint George slaying the serpent or dragon. This particular page is for the East/West perspective but there will also be one for the North/South.
