Imposters

There are multiple ways to distinguish a true vampyre from clones, hybrids, and fakes.

First, we have a perfectly symmetrical “X” from their mark to their eye.
The imposters forced their asymmetrical “X” upon each of us under threat of death.

This forced others to regard us as the “fakes” or something vile.
Those of their ilk enjoyed the spoils of our lifetimes and the status of our birth right by threatening to destroy our race.
