Maybe it was unknown to humans, but a major area for local witch and wizard families was Agoura Hills. It was a perfect distance between the Valley, mountains, and ocean.
Before humans invaded the area, it was so idyllic that it’s downright boring. The relative I was living with worked in office space at the Whizin Market. he was always trying to get me to visit their arcade and shops or get my hair done there so that other kids would visit too and bring in money. But the shopping center was a drive and most kids stayed close to beach or, later, the Galleria.
When the humans moved in, so did some significant and ongoing crime. They changed the entire area for the worse. -Nicole Anstedt
