Oceanic Origins

In my books and mythology, the kindred are of land and sea, but the Earth started as an ocean world and the kindred origins are oceanic.

We see some of this reflected in Polynesian myth with sea-fairies dying when exposed to light. This similar effect happens to vampire in human fiction.
