Uprising

There have been several uprisings. One of the largest had quite a simple root–power. There were werewolf/wolven followers of Adan. They aligned with the woodwose and some witches, ate human flesh (“meat”), and believed themselves to be rightful rulers of humans and the land of Earth. They were further aligned with humans against the vampyre and their loyal kindred.  Ultimately, they were typically betrayed by humans and made to do their bidding.

Where this became particularly problematic was with human-hybrid vampyre, who were quite duplicitous against both sides and any of the kindred who took a human mate or had human young.
