Crescent

The crescent moon is my mark. I imprinted a similar mark on my mate. Once we imprinted, he was given my original crescent shape pointed to the left, where my crescent rotated to point down.

Interesting to me is that the crescent beneath this statue of Mary is so reminiscent of the lotus. In revisiting the Aphrodite creation myth, one could see her as easily arriving in a lotus flower as a clam shell.

The number 17 is said to be associated with sin. It is the age I was when first initiated.
