Cheyenne Dog Soldiers

The headdress above reminds me of a porcupine. Many have seen the werewolf movie, “Dog Soldiers,” based out of Scotland.

The Cheyenne Dog Soldiers were also called dog men and were said to have originated as dogs who could turn into warriors.

On the Cheyenne shield, we also see a bow or crescent shape. There is also a swallow-type bird depicted.
