Surname Etymology
Huntsaker-
The running joke among some of this line is they “hunt suckers.” They have been among the human Vultures and the hunters of supernatural kind-particularly vampyre.
Saker can be related to a bag or sack. Literally they could have worked with the Millers to bag grains. There are many connotations and meanings of bag or sack from there-including testicles or seed- as well as the bags relating to the Firbolg. It can also mean hunter of large falcon or be related to the sacred wild hunt-but what was the true prey of the hunt?
