Romulus

-Interesting points:
-A twin
-A “Faust” is involved in this story. Faustulus is said to have been a shepherd who found Romulus and Remus.
-“Lupa” is the word for both prostitute and she-wolf. Scholars now believe that the twins were suckled by a prostitute rather than a she-wolf.
-Their mother, Rhea Silvia, was said to be a Vestal Virgin. The Vestal Virgins were devotees and priestesses. This makes them also connected to Hestia.

-The reign of Romulus ended when a thunder storm was seen wrapping itself around him.
