In my books, Gold ‘n Silver and American Flats, I am forced to ghostwrite a vampire novel for an author who would later become famous. Part of the novel is written in my own blood. The fact that it had to be written partially in my blood, rather than giving me another pen, is also tied to Eve and other characters in my books. So, naturally, I was interested in other examples of blood used in or as ink.
