Bean Tighe
In mysteries, it is a trope to say, “the butler did it,” and perhaps he did, but what of the housekeeper?
On my father’s side of the family, my great-grandmother (Agnes MacAlpine/Miller/Hay) was a housekeeper who became a land owner and woman of the house. In the purchase of property, she also became a Bean Tighe.
We absolutely have a family banshee, or at least I do. Perhaps that is the transition. Until my Book of Ways and my grandmother’s Book of Ways are returned to me, my personal information will only be as strong as the memories that have returned.
