Taraz

Taraz reminds me of Tarzan. Particularly since someone of the region would have been called a Tarazian.

It is said that Tarzan means “white skin.” Since this is a region of the steppe known for Scythian nomads, that is not surprising. Some also believe that Tarzan was not raised by apes, but rather by a now-extinct hominid. This could have been werewolves or even wodewose-of which science has no record.

Perhaps they were originally of this region or migrated to it.
