What about the bridge to Forks that you see in the movie? There isn’t one. But there is a bridge to Whidbey Island.

In the film that bridge is Bridge of the Gods on the border of Oregon and Washington.

Here it is (left) pictured next to Deception Pass (right). Deception Pass is the bridge leading to Whidbey Island.

(The Lost Boys features a train trestle rather than a trestle bridge. That train trestle is in Santa Clarita, CA–another Twilight film location city.)

Below is the only bridge into Forks. Stephenie Meyer first visited Forks, WA in 2004 so she would have gotten a sense for how the town actually looked to prepare for the films. Driving into town from the 101 would have been equally majestic and more realistic. For Oregon filming, they could have located a spot near Government Camp or Mt. Hood.
