Cross of Lorraine

I cannot remember how I got the cross. At the time (1991ish) I was discussing some research on the history of the vampyre and the cross may have come from Nicholas de Vere but my memory has not returned as to the source. I remember the moment I had to relinquish it. A tall man I knew, with short black hair, was standing in front of me and I was in a box similar to a witness stand. I stood up, took it from my neck and placed it on his. He promised to never remove it until he could return it to me. That was a long time ago-in so many ways.
