As I was looking at the similarities between my life and Twilight, I started to notice the same kind of resonance in other vampire and supernatural fiction. One of those series was House of Night.
First, there is a similarity between the crescent-shaped birthmark on my head and the crescent-shaped mark on Zoey Redbird’s forehead.
Second, my name is Nicole (also a character name in the series) and my nickname during school was Zoey (the name of the main character).
Third, like Twilight, I saw that certain surnames were similar to those in my family tree.
Fourth, members of the Black family did later claim to be Cherokee.

Fifth, House of Night has RedBird. Twilight has Old Quill. In my life, his name was Old Bird.
Here is a document dating back to 1994 where I am writing about Old Bird.
Sixth, like the Disney+ Goosbumps series, this book also features a character with the last name Biddle. Biddle was the name of my P.E. teacher on Whidbey.
Honorable Mention-Not doubting this story, but I knew a Brandon “Dragon” Langowski while I was attending McQueen.
